2017 Indonesia Electronic Cigarette Convention
After a streak of success in England, Russia, and the U.S., Vpdam and Cacuq brought their first-class collection and never-fading enthusiasm to Indonesia in October.
So much was like the exhibition in Moscow last year, where thousands of visitors poured into the convention daily, inquiring, conversing, debating and purchasing, but in Indonesia more visitors are exempted from entrance tickets and the convention is therefore packed with vendors who were interested in bulk purchase, individual buyers who keenly investigated new arrivals, and spectators who only cared for pleasures of walking through vendor booths where a glimpse of their long-dreamed of devices would satisfy their thirst.
The convention lasted two days, during which almost all important wholesalers made their presence, including Heaven Gifts, Elego, and Coilmaster besides Vpdam and Cacuq. Among all the Chinese wholesalers, Vpdam and Cacuq are by far the most popular, attracting hordes of visitors and producing traffic jams at 11 am each day. Vpdam was the only vendor at the convention with a complete set of vaping accessories.
Some of the most popular products were: the Athena BF Squonk from Geekvape, the Pulse BF Mod from Vandy Vape, and the 8 in 1 wire from Vpdam. The nichrome wire, ni80.alien wire, and fused Clapton captured hundreds of customers, who for one purchase would wait for hours and come repeatedly to the Vpdam Booth to check. Another star product, the Vpdam Drip Tip, being cheap and of excellent quality, captivated almost every customer who happened to walk by or heard about it through word of mouth.
After 2 days of directing product exhibition at the convention, Michael, the marketing director of Cacuq and Vpdam, started his bus tour around the country to visit potential future partners. Not all visits were welcomed, and there were ups and downs that made Michael realize the nature and characteristics of the Indonesian market. Being a market dominated by competition-driven pricing, Indonesian market is extremely sensitive to prices, which is also why big manufacturers like Joyetech and SMOK that set high prices for their products failed to occupy large shares of market as they did in Europe and the U.S.. On the opposite, second-tier brands like Wotofo, Coilart, and Geekvape because of their modest pricing, have made considerable conquest in the Indonesian market. It is therefore tremendously important for Cacuq to establish firmer relationships with the three said manufacturers (Wotofo, Coilart, and Geekvape) in order to make a meaningful entrance into the Indonesian market.
Being the fourth most populous country in the world, the potential of Indonesian market is inestimable, especially when Vpdam is grounded upon excellent quality and cheap prices. It is a promising future I see in Indonesia for Vpdam and Cacuq.
